The following is information
on Purdy, who is owned by Lori Jenkins of Gryarvold Mastiffs. Although she is not one of our dogs, Lori has honored us by breeding
this beautiful girl to Max. Because we are so pleased with this
breeding, we asked Lori if we could post some information about Purdy
on our website; she agreed and wrote the following.
"Purdy is our youngest Mastiff girl and
biggest of the three. She has great bone and depth of body,
wonderful width of chest with a prominent fore chest. Her angulation
is great and enables her smooth rolling gate. Her length of
body is in the correct proportion to her height and her feet have
perfect cats toes. She is a massive girl and loves to
push that weight around her family members."
"One of Purdy’s favorite foods
is hotdogs and she will head for the fridge when she enters the house. She can hear the ice dispenser a mile away and comes running for her
share to munch to her hearts content. She is the guardian of
the family and has to be the one to alert to company or what she thinks
are trespassers on the lake, which fronts our house. Although
she does not like to go into the public: it makes her very nervous
and she wants to hide so people can’t see her. That is the reason
she has not been finished to her Championship, as she just hates the
show scene and all that goes with it. She would rather be at
home chasing the squirrels."
"We anticipate that Max
and Purdy will produce some amazing puppies and can’t wait to see
them. Please check back often for updates on this much anticipated
breeding!"
