Meera

Meera is our "piggy" - she loves to root around in the mud .... she literally digs (scoops) water and mud with her nose. We know she wasn't raised in a pig stye, however, in her mind, a muddy existence would be a perfect one! Unfortunately for her, we keep her as clean as we can, because a year ago we began showing her with some success ... she has all of her minor points ... we just need those majors.

Meera has been a joy since we began co-owning her with Robert Wright when she was three years old. She wants to hold you down ... she can't keep that paw off most people; she gives big sloppy wet kisses to anyone who gets near that tongue (her daughter Gaia inherited that same tongue!). She loves everyone, and everyone who gets to know her quickly comes to love her! She loves the kids and her best play buddy is Saga, our Rhodesian Ridgeback, they run and wrestle together until they are both worn out - usually Meeara wears out first!

Meera was bred to Max and we had puppies on November 17, 2005. Unfortunately, it became necessary to spay Meera during her c-section from this litter and will thus go own to be a GREAT couch potato! However, we got three wonderful pups from these two wonderful dogs! And Meera's daughter from this last litter, Jazmine, will be her constant buddy and companion!
